RIGID STEM MOUNT

1) Lowershadedownoverxture.Setshadedownonarmsofxture.

2) Passwirethroughstemsandscrewstemsintocouplingsontopof

 xturebody.IMPORTANT:Atleastone12”stemmustbeusedoneach

 coupling.

NOTE:Threadlockingcompoundmustbeappliedtoallstemthreads

 asnotedwithsymbol(3)topreventaccidentalrotationofxtureduring

 cleaning,relamping,etc.

3) Passxturewirethroughremainingstemsandscrewstemstogether.

4) Passholeincanopyoverendofstem.

5) Sliplockwasheroverendofstemandscrewhexnutontoendofstem.

6) TURN OFF POWER.

IMPORTANT:Beforeyoustart,NEVERattemptanyworkwithout 

 shuttingofftheelectricityuntiltheworkisdone.

 a) Gotothemainfuse,orcircuitbreaker,boxinyourhome.Place

  themainpowerswitchinthe“OFF”position.

 b) Unscrewthefuse(s),orswitch“OFF”thecircuitbreakerswitch(s),

  thatcontrolthepowertothextureorroomthatyouareworking

  on.

 c) Placethewallswitchinthe“OFF”position.Ifthexturetobe

  replacedhasaswitchorpullchain,placethoseinthe“OFF”

  position..

7) Findtheappropriatethreadedholesonmountingstrap.Assemble

 mountingscrewsintothreadedholes.

8) Attachmountingstraptooutletbox.(Screwsnotprovided).Mounting

 strapcanbeadjustedtosuitpositionofxture.

9) Makewireconnections(connectorsnotprovided.)Referencechart

 belowforcorrectconnectionsandwireaccordingly.

10)Pushxturetoceiling,carefullypassingmountingscrewsthroughholes.

11)Securexturetoceilingwithlockwashersandthreadedballs.

12) Setglassthenspacerdownoversocket.

13)Attachsocketringtosocketringtool.

14)Lowersocketringtoolwithsocketringattacheddownthroughglass.

 Threadsocketringontosocket.Tightensocketringtosecureglassin

 place.(DONOTovertighten.)

15)Insertsuppliedbulbs.CAUTION: DONOTtouchbulbwithbarehands.If

  thishappens,cleanbulbwithdenaturedalcoholandalintfreecloth.

16)Threadglasssleevesontosockets.(DONOTovertighten.)

LOOP/CHAIN LINK MOUNT

1) Followsteps1-3fromStemMountInstructions.

2) Screwthreadedpipeintoendofeachstem.

3) Screwloopsontoendofeachthreadedpipe.

4) Addonechainlinktoeachloopandaddsecondlooptoeachchainlink.

5) Screwthreadedpipeintoendofeachloop.

6) Passeachthreadedpipeonloopsthroughholesincanopy.

7) Sliponelockwasheroverendofeachthreadedpipeandscrewone

 hexnutontothreadedpipes.

8) Followsteps6-16fromStemMountInstructions.
