1) TURN OFF POWER.

IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without

shutting off the electricity until the work is done.

a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. Place

the main power switch in the “OFF” position.

b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker switch(s),

  thatcontrolthepowertothextureorroomthatyouareworking

on.

 c) Placethewallswitchinthe“OFF”position.Ifthexturetobe

replaced has a switch or pull chain, place those in the “OFF” position.

2) Thread hexnut onto threaded pipe so that approximately 5 threads are

exposed above hexnut. Thread that end of threaded pipe into mounting

strap. Thread second hexnut onto end of threaded pipe protruding from

back of mounting strap. Tighten both hexnuts against mounting strap

3) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided)

4) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.) Reference chart

below for correct connections and wire accordingly.

5) Pushxturetowall,carefullypassingthreadedpipethroughhole.

6) Securexturetowallusingthreadedcap.

7) Insert recommended bulb.

8) Lowerglassdownoversocket.Fitbottomofglassinsidecuponxture

base. Carefully turn glass to secure glass in place. (DO NOT over tighten.)

9) Setroofdownontopofxture.

10)Threadscrewsdownthroughholesinroofandintoxture.Tighten

screws to secure roof in place.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING FIXTURE OUTDOORS AND/OR

IN WET LOCATIONS.

11) Mountingsurfaceshouldbeclean,dry,atand1/4”largerthatthe

canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting surface and

 canopyexceeding3/16”shouldbecorrectedasrequired.

12) With silicone caulking compound, caulk completely around where back

of canopy meets the wall surface to prevent water from seeping into

outlet box.

a) Localiser le coffret à fusibles ou le disjoncteur du domicile. Mettre

l’interrupteur principal en position d’Arrêt.

 b) Dévisserleoulesfusibles(oumettreledisjoncteursurArrêt)qui

  contrôlentl’alimentationversleluminaireoulapiècedanslaquelle

le travail est effectué.

c) Mettre l’interrupteur mural en position d’Arrêt. Si le luminaire à

remplacer est doté d’un interrupteur ou d’une chaîne connectée à

l‘interrupteur, placer ces éléments en position d’Arrêt.

2) Enlerl’écrouhexagonalàl’extrémitédutuyauletédefaçonàce

 qu’environ5letssoientexposésau-dessusdel’écrouhexagonal.

 Enlercetteextrémitédutuyauletédanslabridedemontage.Enler

 lesecondécrouhexagonalàl’extrémitédutuyauletéquidépassede

la bride de montage. Serrer les deux écrous hexagonaux à la bride de

montage.

3) Fixer la bride de montage sur la boîte à prises. (Vis non fournies).

4) Connecterlesls(connecteursnonfournis).Sereporterautableauci-

dessous pour faire les connexions.

5) Pousserl’appliquecontrelemur,etfairepasserlesvisdexaitondans

les trous de passage en procédant avec précautions.

6) Fixerl’appliquecontrelemuràl’aidedesrondellesfreinsetdubouchon

 lete.

7) Installer l’ampoule recommandée.

8) Abaisser le verre pour le placer sur la douille. Placer la partie inférieure

du verre dans la coupelle sur base du luminaire. Tourner soigneusement

 leverrepourlebloquer.(NEPASserreravecexcès).

9) Placer le toit sur le dessus du luminaire,

10) Visser les vis à travers les trous dans le toit et dans le lumianire. Serrer

 lesvispourxerletoitsurlelumianire.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE DE LUMINAIRE À L’EXTÉRIEUR ET/OU

DANS DES LIEUX HUMIDES.

11) La surface de montage doit être propre, sèche, plate et de 0,6 cm plus

 épaissequelecachesurtouslescôtés.Toutécartentrelasurface

 demontageetlecachedépassantde0,5cmdoitêtrerectiéselonles

besoins.

12) À l’aide de matériaux d’étanchéité à la silicone, calfeutrer bien autour

où l’arrière du cache entre en contact avec le mur pour empêcher l’eau

de passer dans la boîte de raccordement.
