2) Passholeinbottomoftopcolumndownovertopoflongthreadedpipe.
3) Lowertoptrimdownovertopoflongthreadedpipe.Settoptrimontop
ofcentercolumn.
4) Slipsmallwasherthenlockwasheroverendofthreadedpipe.Thread
hexnutontoendofthreadedpipe.
5) Screwtophookontoendofthreadedpipe.
6) TURNOFFPOWER.
IMPORTANT:Beforeyoustart,NEVERattemptanyworkwithout
shuttingofftheelectricityuntiltheworkisdone.
a) Gotothemainfuse,orcircuitbreaker,boxinyourhome.Place
themainpowerswitchinthe“OFF”position.
b) Unscrewthefuse(s),orswitch“OFF”thecircuitbreakerswitch(s),
thatcontrolthepowertothextureorroomthatyouareworkingon.
c) Placethewallswitchinthe“OFF”position.Ifthexturetobe
replacedhasaswitchorpullchain,placethoseinthe“OFF”
position.
7) Takethreadedpipefrompartsbagandscrewinscrewcollarloopa
minimumof6mm(1/4”).Lockintoplacewithhexnut.
8) Runanotherhexnutdownthreadedpipealmosttouchingrsthexnut.
Nowscrewthreadedpipeintomountingstrap.Mountingstrapmustbe
positionedwithextrudedthreadfacedintooutletbox.Threadedpipe
mustprotrudeoutthebackofmountingstrap.Screwthirdhexnutonto
endofthreadedpipeprotrudingfrombackofmountingstrap.
9) Connectmountingstraptooutletbox.
10)Unscrewthethreadedringfromscrewcollarloop.Takecanopyand
passoverscrewcollarloop.Approximatelyonehalfofthescrewcollar
loopexteriorthreadsshouldbeexposed.Adjustscrewcollarloopby
turningassemblyupordowninmountingstrap.Removecanopy.
11) Afterdesiredpositionisfound,tightenbothtopandbottomhexnutsup
againstthebottomandtopofthemountingstrap.
12)Slipcanopyoverscrewcollarloopandthreadonthreadedring.Attach
chain(withxtureconnected)tobottomofscrewcollarloop.Unscrew
threadedring,letcanopyandthreadedringslipdown.
13)Weaveelectricalwireandgroundwirethroughchainlinksnomorethan
3inchesapart.Passwirethroughthreadedring,canopy,screwcollar
loop,threadedpipeandintooutletbox.
14)Connectxturegroundwiretooutletboxgroundwirewithwireconnector.
(Notprovided.)Neverconnectgroundwiretoblackorwhitepower
supplywire.
15)Makewireconnections(connectorsnotprovided).Referencechart
belowforcorrectconnectionsandwireaccordingly.
16)Raisecanopytoceiling.
