1 ) Position back of outlet box against face of step riser and

outline in pencil. Cut out marked rectangular opening.

2 ) Slip outlet box into opening and mark position of threaded

mounting holds. Remove outlet box and cut out notches

around these marked holes.

3 ) Remove the most convenient knockout for wiring.

4 ) Run wire from socket bracket assembly through knockout,

and slip assembly into outlet box. (Socket bracket

assembly will be secured in step #9).

5 ) Turn off power. Make wire connections. (Wire connection

should not be made inside outlet box.)

6 ) Slip outlet box into hole and secure in place using nails.

7 ) Install supplied #912 lamp into socket.

8 ) Remove tape from step light gasket so adhesive is visible.

Center and then stick gasket to back of cover plate.

9 ) Line up hole in cover plate and socket bracket assembly

with mounting holes in outlet box and secure in place

with provided screws.

1 ) Placer I arriere de la boite de joction contre I avant du montant et

dessiner le contour. Decoouper les ouvertures rectangulaires en suivant le

dessin.

2 ) Faire glisser la boite de jonction dans I ouverture et marquer I

endroit des trou de montage. Enlever la boite de jonction et faire des

encoches autour des marques de trous.

3 ) Prevoir le passage le plus pratiquepour le fil electrique.

4 ) A travers ce passage, faire partir le fil electrique du support de fixation

pour le connecter a la boite de jonction. (la boite de jonction sera fixee au n˚ 9)

5 ) Couper le courant electrique et faire les connexions. (ne pas faire les

connexions a l interieur de la boite de jonction)

6 ) Faire glisser la boite de jonction dans le trou et la fixer avec des clous.

7 ) Mettre une lampe n˚ 912 dan la douille.

8 ) Enlever le ruban du joint d etancheite de sorte que la partie adhesive soit

visible. Centrer et faire adherer le joint a l arriere de la plaque de protection.

9 ) Faire correspondre les trous de la plaque de protection ainsi que

ceux du support de fixation avec ceux de la boite de jonction et fixer a l aide

des vis jointes.

INSTRUCTIONS

For Assembling and Installing Fixtures in Canada

Pour L’assemblage et L’installation Au Canada

1) Fixture shall be connected to an extra low voltage transformer approved for use with landscape lighting systems.

2) This fixture is to be connected to secondary wiring of the following type:

12GA 90°C minimum type;

SPT-3 suitable for outdoor use; or,

approved landscape lighting cable.

3) The device is accepted as a component of a landscape lighting system where the suitability of the combination shall be determined by CSA or

local inspection authorities having jurisdiction.
